Stories are threads that tie our humanity together, stitching our history to the present and our present to the future. We tell stories to connect to each other, to find our power and liberation, to share our voices.

I want to help you tell your story.

I’m a queer Palestinian-Jordanian-American who wants to work with my communities and others to get more of our stories out in the world. Our voices are needed in this moment of social change and growing awareness of the systems of injustice that harm so many. I believe storytelling and idea-sharing can help propel us into new paradigms.

I approach each kind of editing a little differently, but strive to make every project a conversation with the author. I have a knack for addressing difficult subjects with tact and respect, fostering deeper thought and conversation. This compassionate approach allows me to give needed feedback with kindness.

I’m most interested in lifting up the voices of people who’ve been historically unheard, ensuring the work shines while maintaining the author's unique voice. The most important thing to me as an editor is to help an author tell their story, and to make sure they feel seen and supported along the way. My open, curious nature helps me assume the best and communicate directly and kindly.

About Me

In addition to editing, I perform burlesque, which is the perfect medium to use my theatre background in costume design, performance, and playwriting. My boundless curiosity leads me to new hobbies and places. I love to experience new things—though I very much appreciate the familiar and comfortable too. I enjoy gardening, trying new-to-me crafts (most recently crochet and weaving), finding new parks to get lost in—taking far too many pictures along the way (sprinkled throughout this site), sewing, cooking, reading, swimming, and doing my cat’s bidding (which leads to delightful moments with her).
